Trust, Surrender, Submission

It seems to me that God does not want to rip anything away from me, nor for me to plop everything in His lap and forget about it.

Once I reach for the white flag I am prompted to open my fists, palms up, to allow His Spirit Wind to separate the wheat from the chaff.

The hardest thing is not to grasp the wheat when I think He is done.

Another sister looks at it this way:
As I leave my hands open to let go, I will leave them open to receive.

  1. Pondering on this again. .

I may think I am holding all in my open hands, standing strong before Him while my arms get tired. Truly HE is holding all, including me. He wants me, that's all.
